About the designer and her brand:

Hind is a Lebanese graphic designer based in Montreal, Canada. Born and raised in Beirut, she moved to Canada with her parents at the age of 10. Although she has spent half her life abroad, between Canada and Bahrain, her love and longing for Lebanon have always remained strong.

Proudly connected to her homeland, Hind’s attachment to the rich culture, traditions, and the beauty of the Arabic language deepened as she grew older. She realized that this sense of belonging to one’s homeland was shared by many other Arabs, particularly Lebanese, Palestinians, and Syrians living in Canada and the U.S. In 2022, following the pandemic, Hind decided to channel her talent and experience as a graphic designer into a project that would evoke memories of childhood and reconnect people to their past. This led to the creation of Minbiladi

Minbiladi is a collective Arab cultural brand that embraces the beauty of the Arabic language, transforming it into fun, comical expressions while tapping into cherished memories from back home.Through Minbiladi, Hind became a storyteller, designing with passion and nostalgia, in an effort to reconnect with Arab culture and traditions.
