LOVE و RESIST Hoodie

The LOVE و RESIST hoodie is much more than a piece of clothing-it's a statement, a conversation starter, and a means to educate the world about injustices faced not only to our people but by all oppressed nations.

This powerful design is a collaboration of creativity and meaning. Karima brought it to life with her stunning English calligraphy, interwoven with the olive branch pattern from the keffiyeh. The olive branch, a recurring symbol in our designs, represents strength, resilience, and perseverance-qualities that define our identity. My college friend and brother, Marcus, who helped bring Palestinian Hustle to life with our classic logo, skillfully integrated these elements into the design.

The hoodie features the word LOVE in red and RESIST in green, centered around the Arabic letter و (waw), which carries profound significance. In Mystical Islamic thought, waw symbolizes the unity between God and humanity, representing simplicity, innocence, and pure love. As a connector in language, waw bridges words and sentences, just as love and divine essence connect us all.

This design embodies these values, striving to inspire a world where love and resistance are intertwined, allowing people to find meaningful connections and work towards unity and growth. Through LOVE و RESIST, we aim to celebrate these shared values and build bridges of understanding, hope, and perseverance.
