Palestine Is Home Long Sleeve

Many Palestinians living in the diaspora call Palestine home. Whether we were born in Palestine or abroad, whether we were displaced or stayed there, no matter the situation, many of us consider Palestine our home. Some of us have never visited there, yet Palestine is still our home. And so, we all have this sadness within us because our home is fragmented into a million pieces. Our home cannot truly be whole until every Palestinian is allowed to return and allowed to freely travel throughout; until maps can recognize Palestine as its own country, as it always has been. I've lived away from Palestine for 24 years, yet I call Florida a temporary home. I only feel truly home back home. I am home when I am standing in front of Bab IL 3amood listening to the sounds, yells, music, smelling the foods, and seeing my people all over. This is the feeling of home for me. While a particular place may be home, the feelings and memories of this place stay with us, even as we find ourselves in different parts of the world. Our home lives in us. This design speaks to that and is a prayer to the home that will forever live in our heart.
